Noone really plays 5...Nxd4, as this concedes a space advantage to white at no risk. 5...Bb4 is almost universally played.
9.Nd5 is not bad at all, but I guess white has more useful moves to play- like Bg5, Bf4 or even h3.
10.ed5? is a positional error of the first degree: You block your own bishop, and convert your useful dynamic space advantage to a useless, static one. After 10...Bf5 Black has no problems whatsoever- factly, her may already be just a tad better.
I came home from Team match otb and I was surprised Fritz 13 told me the first 10 moves were book moves. but where can I find out what variation of the scotch I played is named and if it was good.
