really cool trap from the king's gambit

bruh black played like a 200 so it isn't really a trap

ok more subtle idea. at the end, f7 is not feeling very safe.

Isn't that just the Muzio gambit rather than a trap? Also no trap works with perfect play from both sides to that comment that says Black played badly (which he didn't; this is theory)

yea lol, black is worse with perfect play with white but it will be hard to defend that pawn

yea, like, if Nc6, Qxf4, Bc5+ is the best move, and after Kh1, Qe7 is playable, but answered with Bxf7+, Kd8, and after Nc3, Qe5 is the best move, and white actually has a slight edge after d4 Qe5 Nd4 Qxf4 Bxf4. and Black has to defend the mate threat of Bxc7# with Bd6. And after Bg5+, black has to block with the g8 knight. All of these are the best moves, and white is actually much better even though she's down a piece.

danish gambit: good trap if your opponent loves to eat and his IQ is in the negatives.
