for some reasonhe resigned right ther not sure why yes he would be 2 minor pices down but he still had a chance if he attacked right

2...Nf6 is fine. Known as Petroff's Defense (or the Russian Defense). 3...Qe7 is utter crap. 3...d6 is singificantly stronger. After he moves back to f3, Black should then take on e4 with the Knight.
This is the main line of the petrov. Qe7 is not considered a good option.
2. Nf6 and gg easy game
I was wonder ing if you guys thought 2.NF6 followed by QE7 is a solid response to NF3 in all cases i get my pawn back and in some cases such as this game i get a piece as well.So do u think this is better than the more commen 2.NC6
