sources on queens gambit declined exchange?
The queens gambit declined isnt as passive as its reputation. black has play against whites king while white can go for an minority attack on the queenside
Maybe i should check that out lasker1900. I went trough sam collins DVD on the carlsbad structure recently and now i want concrete lines to follow so i can put my carlsbadknowledge to use

6...Qb6 is an interesting side variation. White's best is 7.Qd2, which IMO Black should answer with 7...Be7! and at least white is forced to play something else than "pattern chess".
To my poor knowledge, only Dzindzi has made a video for it here, which of course is not to be blindly trusted- pretty much like any openings' video by that author.
This is a really interesting variation. I play the white side of it often in OTB tournaments and have very interesting games. I suggest you look at games from a database with whites three main ideas in mind (Queenside Castle, minority attack, botvinick variation f3).

I will give it a shot! I suspect my opponents will rather put the queen on c2 on autopilot
7.Qc2 Ne4! is a very sound gambit, which gives Black good play.
The not-so-subtle difference is that 7.Qd2 Ne4?! 8.Nxe4 dxe4 9.Ne2 is good for white, while 7.Qc2 Ne4! 8.Nxe4 dxe4 9.Ne2?? drops the g5 bishop since there is a check at a5.
i want to get better in this mainline but not sure what sources to use. i bought John Cox book( which is good but he recommends to answer 5.Bg5 with Bf5 which i dont like. the position from the diagram is what i play
