Tell me how you refute the Latvian Gambit

jcidus seems to be chess-trawling.

In blitz games I usually play 6...Qd8 it's more practical, but I think the most accurate move is 6...Nc6.

In any case, I'm not going to play a game here.

I haven't played chess in months; right now I'm studying geopolitics, the Iran-Israel conflict. I don't feel like playing I've been quite disconnected from chess for a while. So for now, I won't continue the game. Best regards.

Yeah, Nc6 is probably the only real option you gave.

Yes, it seems like an incredible move.

I discovered it back in the day while reading Tony Kosten’s book, which I mentioned above.

The author recommends it. It’s very practical, though not the best.

However, in blitz it works quite well you avoid a lot of problems because the queen, in such an open position, is better placed on d8 than dancing around the board on squares where she can be harassed.

Nc6 is the best, but as I said, Qd8 seems like an interesting option in rapid games.

I haven't played chess for quite a while, and I don't think I'll be playing again in the future. But in the last account I created, I played several games with Nc6, and only one with Qd8, which I happened to lose. It's just a few games, but with Nc6 I do have a good win rate it's the one I've played the most in recent times.
