Hey, I'm wondering if someone experienced could show me how to use the Dutch Defense against d4 in the opening.  Could someone please show me how to play it and the variations?

Things to be looking up/learning

1.  First pick a system that appeals to you.  e.g. Leningrad (like a King's Indian but with the fpawn sticking out), Stonewall (Tends towards more positional play and sometimes the position calls for you sending a pawnstorm down the kingside), the classical(I don't know too much about it), or...what have you.

2.  After acquainting yourself with your system of choice there is another unfortunate issue that you will have to figure out how to deal with, the dreaded Anti-dutch lines where white does hyper aggressive deviations on move 2 and some solid memorization comes in handy.  Either learn those lines or arrive at the dutch via a transpositional move order.  There are two that I know of that can lead to a dutch 1...e6 which can also lead to a french defense type position instead and 1...d5 with a slav setup going into a stonewall.

Oh and there are some other threads on this forum about this opening so you may wish to take a peek at them as well.
