I play the Classical variation and am always disappointed if I don't get a Mar del Plata, which is such fun to play against. After hundreds of games, I know how to always get a queenside advantage as white. I find the Grunfeld irritating to play against. Take black out of book by playing sound, offbeat lines, because unlike the KID, which is very flexible, the Grunfeld is very theoretical and bookish. That works quite well in amateur chess.
