White is using a tempo or two to pick the pawn up, so really it isn't so bad. Nd7 and Ngf6 followed by e6 and c5, blowing up the white centre, works well enough. Looks a lot like the QGA.

Dutchday is right, B has nothing to fear. He is just developing while W queen is losing time.

In fact Qa5+ is not a particularly good move. W can win the pawn back while developing instead of bringing the queen out. Better are either 3.e3 (trasposing to a QGA) or 3.e4!?
