The Scotch

I don't know if I like the scoch to much it allows black to equilize to quickly and can be tricky if played wrong. For example after 1 e4 e5 2 nf3 nc6 3 d5 exd5 4nxd5 bc5 you either swap the knight and black is up in development or you suffer pressure as 5 be3 qf6 6 c3 looks bad

My opponents played
I am White.
1.e4, e5
2. Nf3, Nc6
3.d4, d5
I don't know what to play.
4. dxe5......dxe4
5. Qxd8+....Kxd8
Early Queen exchange....but Black cannot castle and his King has a large target painted on his vest
White has tempo and initiative.

^ This is my most recent game, lol.
The Scotch is great against bad players. Against players that know what they're doing, Black can easily maintain an even game or a slight advantage.
I'm terrible at chess myself, and this is the only opening I'm familiar with.. and by familiar with, I mean I used to open this way all the time with white and just found out it had a name a couple days ago.

Whoever is playing Black is retarded if he plays any of the lines displayed in the original post.
After 3...exd4 4.Nxd4, Black should either play 4...Nf6, 4...Bc5, or 4...g6 (transposing after 5.Nc3 - no better move for White - to the Three Knights Game - 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nc3 g6 4.d4 exd4 5.Nxd4).
4...Nxd4 is something only a moron would play!
