The Spielman Indian, the opening that receives so little love

After 1 d4 Nf6 2 Nf3 c5 3 d5 b5 we have an opening that the chess.com UI identifies as the Spielmann Indian (as a Benko player I like to play like the Benko, even if my opponent does not :-) ). I searched for articles, forum discussions or video's on the Spielmann Indian, but hardly anything!

According to my database however, 3.... b5 is the most played option in its position and has a fair score. My questions:

1) Can anybody point me to resources on the Spielmann Indian?

2) interesting, but less important: why does this opening receive so little love?

I never knew about! I love it!

It goes perfectly if you play the Benoni/Benko

Thank you Yigor, for your pointer.

cricket7890, glad to see that unexpectedly this thread brings joy to someone else!

Does anyone know articles or video's on the Spielmann Indian, besides Yigors link?

I had this whole thing about the Nimzo-Indian (Spielmann Variation), which definitely wasn't what you were talking about. So let's pretend that never happened.

I can't seem to find any sources on the Spielmann-Indian defense though I'll keep searching.
