That opening has some tricks with g4 push especially when Black play Bf5, quite dangerous for black who havent prepared the repertoire well. So, I analysed with Stockfish NNUE to get a repertoire for black.

This is how Stockfish will play as black in quick analysis.

Of course, you will like white as white has initiatives, but this is probably the best black can do in this opening.

In some main  theory lines where black has to struggle to get equal position up to move 25, move 30 .

It is nature of chess that black is supposed to struggle in the opening.

I agree! This probably is the best response! But white has a far easier game!

3..c5 4..cxd4 5..a6 and Black is totally fine.

A poor man's Veresov, as if the Veresov wasn't dubious enough...

2.c4 is the way to go.

All the rest are sidelines, for a good reason.

nderroe

OP has a case for 2.Nc3 because he's a tournament player, and such esoteric lines prove to be a good tool in his case, provided extensive homemade preparation.

It doesn't change the fact that every little "system" is a sideline.

I like Bachmann but he had it coming...

Ignore all these garbage openings. Play f3 kf2 . You are going to see your wins decreasing dramatically.
