Vienna Gambit Only

I literally only play the Vienna Gambit opening (and i think its called the Rousseau Gambit when played with Black) unless my opponents do something totally weird preventing it, then I totally wing it because I've never studied openings. I'm just under 1300 rating right now, do you guys think I should see how far the Vienna can get me or should I start studying a bit?

No, even with the trashiest of openings you can get far beyond your level.

totally recommended! First of all learn what the vienna gambit is(since I saw you playing it against the SCOTCH), and from what I saw the king's gambit suits you more(You don't play the vienna in a solid way, but in a hyperaggressive).

My recommendation: try out the king's gambit as white and latvian gambit as black. Your anti-d4 defense, the soller gambit, in pretty unsound. I recommend you to change that tbh

I see that your repertoire is basically vienna + triple blackmar-diemer + gran prix attack as white and vienna setup spam as black. Here's a repertoire I came with(approved by B-boy)

white - e4

king's gambit against e5, blackmar-diemer scandi, Be3 caro and french(a way to play the blackmar-diemer without worrying about winawers etc), smith-morra against sicilian.

black- against e4, e5 with latvian gambit

against d4 englund hartlaub-charlick gambit

against other openings idk what to do, you can spam the vienna gambit setup maybe

I don’t know if replacing one incredibly dubious repertoire with another, even LESS solid repertoire is a terrible idea or if it’s even worse because OP is unfamiliar with this opening style. OP, don’t take this advice.

i looked up his games and all of his games I saw as black he was playing in the king's gambit style. And bros 1200, he won't feel that +1.7 in the latvian. I don't think he won't be familiar with the repertoire. I just replaced the vienna with king's gambit which is not much of a difference(considering that vienna gambit is solid only against Nf6 and against Nc6 it is basically a delayed king's gambit), improved the blackmar diemer and englund gambit part and replaced the gran prix with smith morra since gran prix in too positional for a gambiteer imo. Am I wrong anywhere?

Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to go do some research so I have more context but will definitely be trying out your suggestions! I think for now keeping it simple and slowly adding new gambits may work best since I'm a terrible positional player so gives me somewhere to start. Thanks!
