Want to beat the Spanish Game in 20 moves?

Who doesn't? While it's not fool proof, the most likely way to accomplish this is with the Schliemann's!

I hope this has inspired some future gambiteers;-)

Black play very well  after 3...f5, i didn't find anything wrong yet, all black moves seem ok or good. (for me =]])

Yeah, black's game flows pretty easily imo. Probably why stealing the pawn here isn't the main line

schliemann is my favourite second to some chigorinlines but my opponents always deviate a long time before i get there.

Isn't the main line 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 f5 4.Nc3?

Like you said, white can play much better than the OP. Still looks pretty even to me though.

Here's the line I play against 3...f5. Granted, I'm an extremely boring main line player.

A friend of mine always played the Schliemann, but when I played 4) Nc3, he didnt play 4... fxe4, he played 4... N-d4!! and did very well with it.  Nd4 looks to be a really good move.
