What Is The Best Counterattack To The Queens Gambit?

The Queen's Gambit Declined. Also, it's not a 'counterattack' but a 'response' to the Queen's Gambit.

Of the sound responses, one is no stronger than another. The Queen's Gambit Declined, Slav, Semi-Slav, and Queen's Gambit Accepted are all perfectly sound.

Probably the Albin Counter gambit is the strongest (meaning full of immediate danger for White) but the strongest does not mean the best chance to win....
@ChopelChess and @Yigor the OP probably meant 'best' when he meant strongest. The options you gave are some of the worse options available to black. As I said the Queen's Gambit Declined is one of the best, and @ThrillerFan gave some others that are equally good

All right but, as U wrote yourself, your suggestion is not a counterattack.

I often play the Austrian counter attack
It's not recommended
But perfectly playable up to, at least, ELO 2000. Curiously, SF9+ has a very good "opinion" about the Austrian Counterattack (ev=+0.3, d=40) considering it as good as QGD.

It's not the Austrian Counterattack, it's the Austrian Defense/Symmetrical Defense. I use it and I recommend it but you have to know the Tarrasch and the Queen's Gambit Accepted becouse you will very often transpose into them or get very similar positions.

Why do you recommend it? According to GM Boris Avrukh: 'Probably the worst opening Black can choose after 1.d4. It has always been considered dubious, and I have not seen any serious attempts to restore it in recent years.'

Oh, well, don't start to quibble about terminological issues. We have enough nitpickers here starting from @ThrillerFan.

There are some lines for white that keep the edge and make black's positions a bit unconfortable for some kind of players but I still like it.
I don't know why I can't see the profile but no :/

No problem, it's just I remember this guy also posting in the forums about the Austrian Defense and then his account disappeared after being very active for a while, but no matter if it isn't you
