The max lange with black
1...Nc6 against everything but 1.e4 (Tango, Chigorin and 2.d5)
1.e4 with white, fianchetto system against dragons and 6.h3 against the najdorf
Gambits such as the Goering, the King's and the Cochrane but most of all,
the Traxler counterattack in the 2 knights defence (with black).
Wow. A lot of people seem to like speculative opening like the King's Gambit. Too risky, in my opinion. It leaves my King too exposed and in harm's way. The Caro-Kann Defence is a favorite of mine. As is the Nimzo-Indian. The Ruy Lopez is a fun opening, and I occasionally experiment with flank openings to catch my opponents off guard. In that realm, at least, the imagination will hold sway as oppossed to the memory.
