Against e4, I prefer the French as it directly counters White's center. The videos here are good for getting started but I have created a study here that will show you more of the most common lines in it.
Against d4, I prefer the Semi-Slav and sometimes the English Defense. I've created a study on the Botvinnik Variation of the Semi-Slav here but have nothing for the English Defense
