if you go really deep into depth it perfers h3

Ilampozhil25

is 49 enough?

any darkness seen at the bottom of the image is due to my computer screen, doesnt invalidate this

Ilampozhil25

not even top 5 nervous

just proving a point, not saying i trust computer 100% for openings

Sea_TurtIe

Sea_TurtIe

chess.com wont go past depth 39, it seems to have figured it out

Ilampozhil25

49 > 39

ill go to next chess move

Sea_TurtIe

thats where you are wrong, you dont let the computer think so therefore it has to come up with one quickly, go further in depth that isint actually depth 49

Ilampozhil25

huh

it says Be2

anyway none of this is productive work anyway

conclusion: computers arent really good at saying which openings are best
Sea_TurtIe

Ilampozhil25

youre wrong on that

i clearly remember that the computer there saves old analyses and puts them in the cloud

i was analysing deeply in some weird line for no reason and then refreshed it was then cloud

anyway ill go deeper there

Ilampozhil25

aah i tried and it isnt anywhere near enough

getting late here, we can decide this tomorrow

I guess h3 and f3 are kind of similar. They both cover g4. h3 allows f2-f4 and Bg2 (without being blocked by f3). f3 defends e4 and allows h2-h4.

Whatever the engine sees to claim that f3 is the best move is kind of irrelevant to us. It's a fine move but nothing crazy compared to the other moves. It's at a point where there are several good moves and nothing is forced so the difference is incredibly subtle or insignificant.

Often f3 is played anyway at later points or f4 is better sometimes.

A few lines that can be played. I won't explain in too much detail. In the Grand Prix attack, you commit your bishop to c4 or b5, and trade it for the knight if possible. Then, lock the bishop out of the chain with d3. You're going to castle short, and if your opponent also castles short, you're going for Qe1 and utilizing the diagonal the queen was on. Then, go for an early f5 to attack the opponent's king. In the Alapin, you're going to play c3 then d4, and against Nf6, d4, cxd4, cxd4, etc. Like this:

(Ignore the Bc4.) In this line, black plays a blunder, Nc2+??. Even though it forks the king and rook, it allows a very strong attack on the king.

"in this line black makes a blunder"

thanks for proving your comment's idiocy

also, THE BRYNTSE GAMBIT GIVES NO COMPENSATION

explain me the attack you have or "the lock grip"

looks like BLACK has the lock grip with your STUPID pieces on g5 and g4 LOCKED OUT of the game and your IDIOTIC queenside pieces cant get in either because of the pawn on e4

black plays Kc7 Nd7 and white has NOTHING for his STUPID queen BLUNDER

The comment's "idiocy" okay. Also the gambit of Qxb4 wasn't explained so you expect me to explain it? Once the move Bb4 is played, Stockfish itself is recommending the gambit. Tell me why that happens? What's the better line that I'm somehow missing after Bb4? Plus, the line where black blunder is an example line, you're telling me I should put every single line of the Alapin in that post? Especially in one where it's supposed to be short. Explain to me how that makes sense in any way.

Are you really trying to point out that black plays Kc7 and not Ke8? Do I have to explain a concept called repetition? I never said anything about a lock grip either. How does black restrict the bishop and knight on g5 and g4? which line does black win those pieces? And you want to know something? where is the 9 points of material that black won? ON FREAKING D8. EXPLAIN WHY STOCKFISH SAYS -0.6 IF IT'S SO LOSING. If you think that this is a -9 opening the entire thing flew 5 kilometers over your head.

Don't bother trying to argue with him. He won't stop and it'll go on forever.

Yeah that's gonna happen because the opening isn't actually -9. Any time you want to say an opening is bad at least check the evaluation before you do.

chess.com is annoying me

i responded to that comment "does not fit community guidelines"

what, so people on mobiles can just do whatever in their post

and if i respond to it IM in fault?

anyway

BLACK PLAYS KC7 AFTER KC6

OTHERS SAID ABOUT A LOCK GRIP NOT YOU (sorry for mentioning that i just do this stuff)

THE PIECES ON G5 AND G4 RESTRICT THEMSELVES

I NEVER SAID BLACK WINS THEM

BTW STOP TALKING ABOUT ENGINE EVALS WE ARE HUMANS AND YOU SHOULD THINK LIKE A HUMAN WHITE HAS NO ATTACK EXPLAIN ME WHERE IT IS

I NEVER SAID I THINK ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT STOCKFISH THINKS

STOP MINDLESSLY SPITTING STOCKFISH LINES

if you are really thinking that spitting stockfish lines and not proving anything will earn you anything, youre right

it earns you a block from me

when im done enjoying this

btw im so sorry for anyone reading this thread posthumously and stumbling on this post im just so angry at ahmed aryan here
