What should I respond to 1. e4, e5 2. Nf3?

I like playing positionally but the Petroff and 3. Nc6 (Italian and Spanish) aren’t doing the best for me, does anyone have any advice?

2.Nc6 and then forget about opening and just try stop loosing your pieces.
