Peet_The_Sock_Man

or pawns go brrr

InfiniteBlunders

um i mean honestly just whatever, probably d4 (like a queen's gambit) or e4 (like an italian)

Dabs2

Just play fast nothing else matters but don't just hang a piece every move. That's what it is below 2000

Bowdler Attack in bullet? Against the Sicilian try for the Delayed Alapin. You'll win a lot or play a better Open Sicilian

openings dont really matter in bullet

Opening theory definitely doesn't but premoving does, so what you have to do is play openings that do well against normal variations, think Englund Gambit, Danish Gambit etc. They aren't the best openings around but your opponent is either losing material or time, either of which is deadly in bullet.

Danish yes, Englund no

they don’t need to be OP enough to be played consistently at top level, but they shouldn’t be losing right away (like for example the Englund)

It's not losing right away, the line that's fully losing is the Qxb2 line, but the Hartlaub-Charlick, Soller, Zilbermints Gambits all range from +1.1 to +1.3, with the Deferred Soller Gambit coming in at +1.7 if you decline it, but +1.3 if you don't. These aren't good by any stretch of the imagination, but none of them are immediately losing, and of course, online someone might just premove and the Englund Gambit Declined is pretty good for Black all things considered.

So almost losing (as long as White plays the obvious dxe5)

though ofc ig there are different ideas of losing at different levels

Bullet makes it easier to get away with dubious openings, however, this does not mean that they are objectively good choices.

I know on lower levels people play slower on average in bullet, so the flagging value of an opening is more important. But typically, the best you can do is playing an opening that you are familiar with.

When you play a system that's easy to premove like the KIA, your opponent will also have some easy moves.

study first 1 opening.. i watch NM Robert Ramirez played online Pirc Defense as both color.. because he know very well the theory..

Poweranony
I would say the valencia opening for bullet (1. d3 e5 2. Nd2)
