Italian Game for White. Two knights defense for black against e4.
What's your favorite Chess Opening?
White - Trompowsky
Black - King's Gambit (Unfortunately, most are smart and play 2.Nf3, against which I play the Petroff, but to the fools that play 2.f4, I'm ready!)
Overall
probably the Catalan! However, it's more about the type of positions I prefer. One of my 12 repertoires is built upon the fianchetto structures. In my blog series on how to build an opening repertoire, I go into details as to how to form a coherent opening repertoire.
You might find it interesting.
I'd appreciate it if you'd check it out.

Before I liked the Italian Game, but then I realized that there's just much better openings. So now, I like:
For White: King's Gambit
For Black: Sicilian Opening
