People drink alcohol for different reasons (for example to feel good) and some people drink responsibly (they're not addicts).

For example a responsible adult, who wants to loosen up a bit, might have 1 or 2 drinks at a party or after work. The effect is mostly mild relaxation / a slightly good feeling. It's not about addiction or sadness, it's like a little life hack.

As a side note, it's basically impossible for a novice drinker to stop at 1 or 2... so don't read what I said above and think "oh that sounds nice." People only stop there because they know the cost of drinking more (feeling sick now and/or later, weight gain, lower quality sleep, stuff like that). IMO it would be good for most parents to have their kids get sick off alcohol once. That way the kid gets this experience in a safe place and not around irresponsible teenagers heh.

An alcoholic is very different. In the late stages it's not possible to feel good from alcohol. You drink just to feel normal. Sobriety is painful, and I don't mean emotionally. It's painful like if you tried to stop breathing. So let me say it again, you have to drink just to feel normal. In fact if an alcoholic stops drinking it could kill them (physical dependency). That's why they have to go to rehab and detox safely. (Of course if they keep drinking, their organs will shut down and they'll die, so they'll die one way or another unless they go to rehab.)

Many people can drink 1 or 2 drinks a day without risk of becoming an alcoholic... other people are predisposed to addiction / alcoholism, so that's something to be aware of.

i mean it just becomes normal when you get into middle school, not really too messed up as its just a way of life which people do eventually learn about even if they are pure so nothing to be ashamed about

More like reality and tbh thats kind of why people love b1z hub as you can just act casual instead of faking who you are cause of guidelines
