Why players say that traxler countergambit is no good?

1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 Bc5!? They are refuting it with Bxf7 but  who will open the      f-file for a pawn? Black gets a dangerous compensation when you did this called"refutation."

because it will continue Nxf7.

Joseph_Truelsons_Fan

if nxf7, stockfish said +1.35 in a proper continuation, so white was up 4 in material and black was up 2.65 in position.

Wow. While toying around I found still another trash, but a tricky one!
What is white's winning concept in the following position?

White's king will go to f7.

deadly_gladiator

marvin's gambit

But all accurate variations lead to equal positions!Attack relentlessly.Do not quote.Do not believe on engines because they have an inaccurate strategical decision. But you should believe if the opening is not unclear but some unclear openings such as Sicilian is not very complicated so believe in engines if Sicilian while in the Traxler, which is not concluded easily(You cannot decide if white or black is better or winning.),so do not believe in engines.

robertjames_perez

But as we know, engines such as Rybka are unbeatable by humans. But still, misdecision even happens in the greatest engines. So do not reason. All humans or humanmade objects make a mistake,

robertjames_perez

I am now neutral about the Traxler because it is good at blitz and rapid but not in standard.

So I just like to play the Giuoco Piano instead of the Two Knights.

How does Black use the f-file? He can try piling up then remove the knight at f3 by shoving the g-pawn down the board. However, White is allowed to move as well! If you move the g pawn too much, you weaken the kingside and open yourself up to attack as well.

Black's king will head to the Queenside.

robertjames_perez

And use the c8 bishop, Rf8, and if possible, Nd4.

robertjames_perez

But Trax is too risky and even more risky in standard

Check the damn databases, take two aspirin and call me in the morning! The doctor is in.

Uh, when the king is at f8 and has lost the ability to castle? Do you still have the initiative if you need to expend a lot a tempos getting the king over to the opposite side without castling?

wisemanclevermsibi

I still have big questions in the trexlor attack

Traxler, not Trexlor.

Traxler has a lot of theory and needs deep and complicated analysis.

And without knowledge about this opening, it is not good to play.

It is also very risky to play, because you will sac many pieces and pawns to justify the soundness of the Trax

Traxler, not f5.

robertjames_perez

And also not the king on f8 but on e7.

robertjames_perez

But I understood that Traxler is a very complicated and risky opening and needs deep and complicated analysis not because of you but because of one of my games playing Trax as black and lost because I didn't know how to respond after my opponent played an unfamiliar move in Nxf7, though if I knew how to respond it would lead to a draw, according to the computers.

Yeah, I was talking about the Traxler in this line -
