Patzer24 director seems apathetic and wont help me re 3-position-draw. haven't played chess for a week cuz Patzer24 stuck me in "vacation" without rectifying if it was a draw

Avatar of stuepat

the draw is simple: 31: a b 33. a b 35. a b = these are the moves, put in letters for ease.

Could you please exert yourself toward coherence?

If you mean your KingOneg game, the same position hasn't occurred three times yet... has it?

Avatar of ivandh

It's not a draw, the position was different at move 31.

You got put on vacation automatically because you were about to run out of time. Go to your settings and turn off vacation.

How is move 31 different? 31. Kh1. Qh3 (Qxh3). 33. Kh1. Qh3. 35. Kh1. Qh3. These 3 moves look the same to me with the exact pieces. What am I missing?

well thank you for your help ivandh, that's all I wanted from Patzer24 is some comment to let me loose to say that the 3 repeat is not valid.

You have to repeat the position, not the moves. There was a pawn on g4 at move 31, that is not there at the other moves.

Also FYI, you do have to claim the draw by hitting the button, by the official FIDE and USCF rules it isn't automatic.

I'm not sure who Patzer24 is but he doesn't have anything to do with this, vacation and draw adjudication is handled by the chess.com programming.

Thank you for the information! Patzer24 is the "director" of the 'knock out match' - didn't say one word to me. Not even "hello"
