What is a reasonable amount of admins and super admins?

Hello Captain Good to see you here. Yeah you're right I am spread pretty thin. I'm only helping with Vote Chess as you know that is my main fuction on chess.com. I have plenty of time now after I had my Hip Replacement Surgery I was put on Disability so I'm online like 12 hrs a day everyday. Also you all are referring to mods in your groups. On chess.com The only offical Mods are assigned by and monitored by chess.com. The positions in any group are done by admins. So if you assign an admin to forums he is the Forum Admin and has the power to Delete Comments or Ban / Delete members that are disruptive or spamming. Generally you don't have to deal with Forum Trolls in private groups but in the Public Forums are full of Forum Trolls / Spammers and trouble makers. That is the job of the chess.com Mods are to follow Public Forums and keep them friendly and spam free, they have the ability to delete offence comments. As for as the Forum Trolls they are a thorn in everybodys side until they finally cross the line and a Mod turns them into the support team. They can change their message posting privileges to suspended or revoked. In extreme cases I have seen them close acct. This site has way too many members to put up with members that are only here to cause trouble. BTW rockongirl I'm fine with handling the VC games but I would not have time to do a proper job at the team matches. I don't believe having deadweight Admin sitting in an admin position just to see their name there. So if they are not performing a specific function as you have decided no reason to have them setting there. Also the only diff between SA and Admin is that only the SA can promote or demote members to or from admin positions. As mentioned in another post their should be a min of 2 SA in each group. There really is no reason to have more than that unless you're doing it just to see their name up their. The reason to have a min of 2 SA there has been many many cases where a SA's account is deleted for any of several reasons. When that happens the group has no control over the admin team as no one can change or assign any admin jobs. The only thing a group can do at that point is contact the support team and ask them to promote an admin to SA so the group can continue to run.
