Does anybody know how to beat their dad in chess?

I've been playing chess for years. I've beaten a decent amount of people online. But I can never seem to beat my dad in chess. I thought I was ready after practicing for nearly 2 months. But I am not. I used to be unable to handle losing at chess to my dad when I was younger. But now that I am older, I've found coping mechanisms. I'm Indian, and this game is considered to be a big part of my dad and I relationship. Is there a psychological reason why I am unable to beat my dad in chess, if not, does anybody have any advice or games I should look at?

Show us your games.  Just because I can beat my dad doesn't mean you can beat yours

Just looked at your last game. You hung your queen at move 7 for no reason.  What have you been practicing? And why do you think you are ready?

I have this same kind of situation. I can beat players of his caliber sometimes but it's quite different over the board against him. I want to try multiple exciting and sometimes unorthodox ideas but my Dad is a classical control the center and look down on flanks player which can be difficult to face and he many time sees more straightforward ideas that I miss while he often misses more developed ideas that have come with engine analysis and more theory. I used to always lose to him but I can now draw him in matches and win maybe one or two but his reputation keeps him ahead of me and I respect that. He often sticks to the Dutch and is a big lover of the Leningrad which he believes to be the best opening.
