Yeah - he looked about 80! Arrogant, egotistical, you wouldn't like him if you met him - but he was an incredible character, and an amazing player - I think that Chess is richer for his games.

Guys fischer died 17 years ago and this thread was made 17 years ago. STOP NECROPOSTING.
I just heard on the radio.
Desipte my mixed feelingas about Fischer, his loss (now or in '75) is a great loss to the chess world.
