Naka is not an elite player and London atests to this. He will do worse in Corus for sure, where most of the players are in the "elite". He finishes next to last in London where only 2 elite players are playing. Corus will be stronger than the London event.

At first I was going to correct this, then I realised you aren't talking about Alekhine. So I´ll guess I´ll just say that Naka is yet to prove himself against top players, something he failed to do in London.
Naka is earning many ratings points, but not 100 in the last 6 months. Try 45 or so?
According to the FIDE lists he didn't fall below 2690 within the last 6 months.
It's fine to be a fanboy but keep the facts straight in the meantime. He does well enough in reality.
