Some people say that Carlsen is the future of chess, but maybe Carlsen gonna quit chess in 4 or 5 years. Carlsen is not a school nor are founding a Norway school of chess as the Russians did. Carlsen is a lone player, like Fischer, a genius who came out of the blue, and perhaps soon he will be bored of chess. I think the future of chess is China (in 10 years). Fischer was the world champion, but chess didn't explode in USA the way everybody expected. The same thing will going to happen with Magnus. They are lone rangers.
Only 22 and Matt Damon should star in Magnus Carlsen's biography!
Carlsen & Vishy...at least there's no-one from the former CCCP in this one!
Well Carlsen is only 22, it's early to accuse him of not founding a school like the Soviets did. And the Soviets sure had some backing from the state, and that for many decades.

Well the song and dance routine over the venue seems to be over and India will indeed host the WCC match. Carlsen has said that he and his team will now start the preparations for that match ( and as someone in this thread pointed out, perhaps try spending some time is a Sauna as well ).
Carlsen needs some vitamins! He always looks so pale! I hope the Indian heat won't bother him too much.

I still like Carlsen ! Mind you the other day someone had a thread on the go here stating that Carlsen is the best of all time ( just a little bit early there ? ).
Update on WCC: Game 1 is a draw ( Carlsen with White & Anand with Black ).

What is not to like about Carlsen?
I have been very impressed with him. He is giving it his all. He actually seemed out of breath right after game 4 when he and anand started talking about it.
His comments show a sense of humor yet he is respectful. I thought his comment that he didn't yet have a chance to complain about Kasparov in the first row was pretty funny. 
Lets face it both players have allot on their minds and they are still doing great for chess.
