Why is the OP referring to Kasparov as being arrogant anyhow? Did Kasparov make some recent announcement??
Yes, he said that the reports of his recent demise were greatly exaggerated...pretty arrogant : )

Don't think there is any excuse for arrongance, and in this clip the guy at 0:30 makes a point of saying his behaviour can be "quite obnoxious"....and also in this video he turns up late, which could be seen as arrogant.

I hate arrogant people. They say that only they understand things although it's not true. Kasparov isn't arrogant but he was complacent several times. The one was in his first match against Karpov in WCC and second was against Kramnik.
He was the best. Even my coach says..but I like his reactions on his blunders

Kasparovs arrogance is largely part of his psychological war on his opponent. Get your opponent annoyed.
Humble is dull anyway!
Kasparov doesn't particularly strike me as arrogant . Some people however can be arrogant with class
