in the bottom of this page you can block that guy
don't let Poor Losers brother you, thats just what they are, Poor Losers. just like the Poor Loser who forces a draw by moving into a position where he can't move. If it's your turn, and you can't move, you lose. The games is about the right moves. If you can't move , you lose. Question Everything.

Haha, the lies people tell themselves so that they can pretend they won.
i played someone like that. He had 6 minutes on his clock and i was winning. My computer was lagging and his time didn't run out when he played a move. He probably reconized that and started to let his time run out. Finally I beat him later on. But that was annoying.
Men lose well, Children at any age don't. I myself do not like to lose, but guess what, it is a game ! Yes, tournament chess states a draw is legal, but originally it was not. Did someone whine enough that the Officals just got tired of the whining and gave in, changing the Rules? If you can't move because you have dropped to your knees and placed your hands on your head, then you have "given up" because you don't want to get hurt. He with the most warriors at "draw" point should win, in the mind of a logical person.

Men don't always well, some are worse then any kid could hope to be when they lose.I would say that most of the people on here that go on a tirade of foul language when things do not go the way they want are not children but are in fact adults and i use the term adult lightly. As for playing a move that creates a stalemate good for your opponent you should not get into that position if you are winning.
Thoughtful posts. I must agree that it certainly does take skill (or luck!) to force a draw! Part of the game. I'm a terrible loser on the inside but on here, I will always try to be gracious and say thank you. I'm told ill lose many more than I win and I just have to remember that and try to learn from every game.
I don't usually win but I've had some pretty rude winners here as well. Called names for stupid moves I make (it's part of the learning process!)
I've solved that by mostly playing people who are friends and declining most from strangers. And I don't put out a "seek". Isn't that sad... So many poor sports, win or lose.
Worth mentioning... I once played a game wih a lower rated player and I lost. My opponent probably thought I was upset... And I was to a point, but I had observers who immediately started to comment thoughtfully on events in the game and tried to help both the opponent AND me. Talk about terrific sportsmanship! I thanked my opponent for the game and he came to my page later to say what a pleasure it had been and how nice it was that I had so much support from others in the community. THAT is what it's all about and when it is fun -- win or lose. There ARE some lovely people here as well. Too bad the bad apples spoil it. ;).
Hi, I just had a game with *****. With at least 15 min. on his clock he saw that the game was mine. Rather than conceding or playing it out he just sat there and let the clock run out. Is there a way that I can block him so that I don't have to play him again? Thanks
