Today after a long day work I acessed this site looking for a relaxing game.

This was my first game:

My opponnent after move 12 started calling me 'idiot'  asking me if I was having fun. I could found that he was mad because I was swapping - as he said - everything before development and so on.
After too much talking I resigned. Tried another game but no sucess.
I'm broadcasting this because I didn't like that.
As I don't have a couch? And don't know how to play very well I ask.
Was he right? Should I develop first every game even if I have a chance to win a pawn or a rook?  If that was better to me i can ask: why not. If not: why should he be mad?  My style depend very on my day and my opponnent.
I think I will disable all chat from now on but I guess I will miss good talking with that.

him: "Are you having fun?"

You: "No, you're making it too easy."

*disable chat*

First of all, that guy should not be so rude. Disabling chat is a solution. You could always wait to disable until the first sign of rudeness.

As to your questions, generally your main goal in the opening should be to develope your pieces. It seems like in this game you decided to try some tactics, but ended up loosing material w/o gaining other advantages. It is not a bad idea for a beginner to try some crazy attacks so they can learn and see what works/what doesnt. It is also sometimes ok to go for winning an extra pawn in the opening, but only if it is sound (look up poisoned pawn). In this case you didn't win material, you lost material.

But there is nothing wrong with trying different things. Thats how to learn.

The rudeness came at move 12, by which time the OP had won material.
