Well. I dont have any proof behind my theory but its just a thought. Anyway this guy was probably lying about this Whole doctor thing or whatever to make u feel bad of what you said to him. In all honesty he was mad about that game. You did nothing wrong imo what i do is normally dont talk while im in the middle of a chess game

Quick question are you saying this in his defense because I said this because he's a sore loser who needs a wake up call and is overall not a nice person to talk to because if he lose he will just sit there waiting for the timer to run out and if he wins he will trash talk his opponent non stop I don't see the part where I have to be polite.That just my side of the story so if you think I'm in the wrong nothing I can do about.
First of all, it was only three minutes! So even if he was being a bit of a jerk, do what? But more importantly, once you start throwing insults yourself, you sort of lose the moral high ground. Instead of one ethical player (you) and one annoying jerk, we just have two people throwing insults back and forth.
I certainly don't think you were in the wrong for being annoyed
Basically I forked this guys king and queen and he had like 3 minutes and decided instead of resigning he just sat there wasting my time hoping I would give him a draw or something of the sort.I asked why he didn't move he just didn't feel like I then told him that he was a jerk and reported him for stalling. He said I was toxic and overreacting and saying reporting wouldn't do anything . He than started telling me that he's a doctor and a teacher at a university for history and stated that people pay him to talk to him. Next game he was just a jerk that he won against someone else but wasn't there for the whole game not sure whose in the wrong in that game.
Please give your opinions on this subject and tell me if this is in the wrong topic I wouldn't mind rewriting this thank you <3
