Well, he has the World Championship Title, That's one thing no other chessplayer can say.....
What makes Magnus Carlsen so different from the other players?

And just when you figure that, he goes ahead and wins the silly game.

Interestingly enough, you would think he would prefer to stay in book...since he has a near photographic memory. But the opposite is true...he prefers to get out of book early...and out chess you. Anand says he likes "dry" positions...I think he is like "The Big Bang"...he makes something out of nothing.

Why? Did you fart?
No, I was corrected by a Swede for naming Carlsen's favourite comic incorrectly.

I like watching Carlsen play informal speed chess. Amongst World Champions, I think he's the best trash talker sinse Fischer.
"Too weak, too slow!"

Can you guys stop trolling please. I'm actually trying to figure out the answer for reals. Read the description before commenting. Sure, you guys are good at the trolling, in fact they're actually funny, but I just want to actually know the serious answer to this question.

He was a prodigy who worked hard and who had all the opportunities. His father was a chess enthusiast who payed for all the expenses in his early tournament hopping endeavours.
Chess is ingrained in his core, almost genetic.
He learned the game in his own way, that's why his opponents can't figure him out.
The other players have been schooled in chess or they learned it from computers.Magnus figured it out by himself aided only with books.
What makes the other players have a hard time beating him. What causes Carlsen to be so far ahead of everyone else. How come the other players aren't as good as him.
EDIT:I mean in how he plays.
