I like Morphy. He played the king's gambit most of the time so looking at his games helped to learn it.

I like Hikaru. He is so funny!!! I recommend to watch his streams. I also like levy, he is also very funny and a great teacher.

duncan suttles isnt my favorite but hes a great player to learn about if you play the modern defence

Petrosian and Reshevsky were my choices for a long time, but I've recently found a new favorite: Pia Cramling. One of about 40 women to achieve the GM title, her positional style of play is somewhat reminiscent of my former favorites. Away from the board, she is soft spoken and humorous, but at the board she is relentless in destroying her opponent's position and hopes.
Pia's husband is also a GM -- Juan Manuel Bellón López -- and their daughter Anna Cramling is a WFM.

Gotham is my favourite he's a good teacher through his videos, and his videos have helped me to gain more elo. I am now 950, and thanks to him, I believe I will keep on climbing elo.
