What's your point of view on chatting mid game while your winning?

I was in this rapid ten-minute game and I was winning by a lot (obviouslywink.png) but then he had about seven or eight minutes left and he kept chatting away while he never played a move the rest of his time he just waited. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

I have not. I talk a lot during my game. When it is my turn I play but I also like to talk especially during covid. But I also do it to keep the person engaged so they don't leave if they are losing, or in some cases winning.

You shouldn't do it when your winning or even when you're winning.

That’s really stupid and distracting if it was over the board I would tell him to shut up because it can interrupt your calculations
