With the amount of new technology, such as Stockfish, it is much easier to improve than it used to be, especially at such a high level. Considering this, it is pretty easy to say that Magnus is better than Bobby Fischer, but for his time, Bobby was very, VERY, good. It has always been highly debated whether or not, considering current technology, any chess players from different eras could be better the Magnus, but due to that difference, Magnus is the best player.
