Top3 Garry Kasprov, Bobby Fischer, Hikaru and i also like Ding Liren but he is not at top 3 level
Magnus Carlsen would be No#1 he has the longest unbeaten streak.
That said, IMO... his match play has been average when you take WC's into account.
Tournaments are one thing... Match play, One on One .... is a whole different thing.
FIDE needs to get back to that!!!!!
What you have seen for the last decade is the equivalent of one round boxing matches... That doesn't prove squat..
Who here knows the difference between Karpov and Kasparov was 4 games in the WC matches? 4 epic games!!!
