Not that my opinion carries much value on assessing 2 of the greats, but for me Kasparov. What I'd like to see is a match between Carlsen and prime Kasparov. Sadly until we perfect time travel I guess it won't happen but that's the decider I'd like to see. Even as a Petrosian fan I think the GOAT is either Kasparov or Carlsen.
