Spasskys first divorce nearly killed his career, before it even got off the ground.
It is well known that nagging chess-wives always criticise the brutality and patriarchal system of chess. As of right now, I do not know if Carlsen is married but if he does get married and his nagging wife continuously pounds him about the obvious sexism of having the king more valued than the queen, the subjection of pawns, and the brutality of the classic medieval war game, would he end up filing for divorcement of his wife? I wonder...
