Black and White chess

This idea just came to me. Having a top site like chess.com sponsor a tournament where the players play seven games against an opponent with the winner moving on, single elimination. 

That is not the “Variant” part. 

The Variant part is that the players get either Black or White and keep that color for all seven games, or until one player wins four. 

In the first game Black moves first and in the second White. The color that moves first continues to alternate between Black and White. If seven games are played Black moves first in four games and White in three. 

This is specifically not addressing any association with White and Black, race for instance. 

Chess players are so trained by the rule of White moving first that it is difficult to know what that holds, prevents, and limits.

In the simplest way, it simply frees the mind.
