Good partnerships communicate regularly.

There are icons at the bottom of the window: "Need a N"; "No Q"; "Trades are good." "Stall", "Mates opponent," etc.

So you can click on "N" and "Mates", to tell your partner that if he gets you a N, you can mate.

You can also type stuff, like "Trade queens, but only when it's my move."

You can communicate by phone or by online apps too; and in the bottom right corner of the window, you can click the little microphone icon, so that you hear your partner's "Need a Pawn. I have Mate" tells.

If you're not communicating, you're not a team.
