Every critical line seems to depend on 1 tempo. Potential for craziness, especially considering what I am willing to do for 1 tempo.
50. 同銀 was the worst move I've played in 2 months. Should have gone with 同飛 instead. If I had played 同飛, I'd be safely 11 ranks deep and your flank completely annihilated - game over. Alas, it's still a game 😕 I'll try not to make any more blunders.

Yes. I can properly use the modifiers for Japanese notation: 上 (forward), 引 (backward), 寄 (sideways), 左 (from the left), 右 (from the right), 直 (directly). Also the special lion moves: 居食い, じっと (pass). The only situation I wouldn't know how to notate is if 2 lions or 2 falcons could take 1 or 2 squares directly ahead, or in the lions case directly backward as well. If that ever came up, I'd probably use 近 (near) and 遠 (far).
