Disconnect Loss Bug

Chess.com's disconnect penalty needs to be fixed--I didn't even disconnect; I was just on another tab for 1 minute--this is ridiculous (-38 points): https://www.chess.com/variants/spell-chess/game/83001563/8/3

First, who are you?
Secondly, I'm pretty sure Chess.com "disconnects" you because they don't want people on other tabs using engines to cheat

Asking who LongTermFuture is when you literally see their username and click on their profile is pretty odd, but whatevs. Secondly, if the goal is to disconnect people to prevent them from using engines, then that's absurd. Why? Because it only takes a few seconds to input a move into an engine and get a response.

Disconnect penalties seem to be given to prevent players from having to wait for ages for their opponent to move.

Ah sorry, my mind wasn't thinking straight with that first question just never mind that. For the second answer, I guess that makes sense.

You're good, happens to all of us.

It looks like you lost exactly a minute on your clock before it auto-resigned you, damn shame!

To CaptailAlligator:

I don't believe there are any engines for chess variations, the main venue for LongTermFuture so your statement is unfounded, un-researched, unkind and ignorant.

Yes? I realized that already. Again my mind wasn't thinking straight at that time.
