no, red's supposed to be grey

evert823

Are you sure the red pieces become grey? I can do that but it seems to be more confusing with the silver pieces.

haoming09

i mean, I suppose we can put Black

Chessisfunforme

hello, red's king is still alive and moves randomly(except on the first move it has to move to an unoccupied space and if it cant then it will stay in the same place)

Chessisfunforme

so it should still be red and it should have moved

evert823

OK, red King moved to d16 - randomly decided

haoming09

oh, just a reminder, the Red King can capture his dead pieces as well as a move

haoming09

so my turn now, right?

I'm still moving m9 (if it is my move)

I didn't know that. So perhaps we have to revert

It would be a random move by the red king until it gets mated

I personally suggest that evert go online to roll a dice 1-8 to decide what move it would make since it was supposed to be completely random

In the OP of the other game I only read this:

Resignation/timeout: When a player resigns or times out, their army will become dead (gray) but their King remains "live" and will continue to move at random until checkmated or stalemated.

evert823

It doesn't say anything about a first move, it doesn't say it can capture it's own allied pieces.

evert823

I'll just wait with posting boards till you 3 guys agree on the rules.

DukeOfHelsinki

I don't think that's important...? I mean, you guys are not just gonna checkmate him because he made (or not) his first move...? so I guess we can live with that now
