Modernized Battleground Chess

Clam down. What if everyone talking about this is in the same time zone and they all fall asleep at the same time? As for the game, it does seem confusing. What about making diagrams with induvidual chessboards showing how each piece moves? Something like this:

Ok. But the movements are simple enough that they'll understand.

You should make two of the warships on each side have deployable troops, like one warship can put down two howitzers or one tank. Also, the board is an odd number of squares deep. Is this intended?

The board is intended. Also transporting heavy weapons on the sea sounds like cheating to me.

I feel like the warships should have a bigger range, but the farther out they get, the lesser chance of them hitting. Maybe do something like a dice roll.
'All directions' means horizontally, vertically and diagonally?
How does the 50-move rule work (since you have no Pawns)? There is no promotion in this game?

In the old version, sword/spear/axemen promoted. So I assume infantry does that here too.
Okay,
this looks pretty much the same (except for designs), and still has the same problems: Infantry is basically useless, and other pieces are all over the place, especially in combination. Maybe try some test games with friends or with AI on protochess.com for tweaking piece dynamics. They're not heinously bad, but probably enough to make for a game that's either inherently drawish without mass blunders or chaotic on both sides (especially with pieces able to move FIVE SQUARES in one turn.
Because even the remastered version of Battleground Chess got too much hate, I decided to... re-remaster it. Introducing: Modernized Battleground Chess! The goal is still to capture the General.
Now let me introduce you to the pieces.
INFANTRY: In the place of the Swordsmen and Spearmen. Moves and captures 1 square forward.
ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIER: In the place of the Light and Heavy Cavalry. Moves 5 squares but only captures 2 squares in every direction.
INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLE: In the place of the Archers. Moves and captures 3 squares in every direction.
HOWITZER: In the place of the Catapults. Moves only 1 square vertically and horizontally, but can capture up to 5 squares in every direction with an area of effect attack. Does not move upon capturing.
TANK: In the place of the Axemen. Moves only 2 squares but can capture up to 5 squares in every direction.
ANTI AIRCRAFT GUN: In the place of the Longbow Brigades. Moves and captures only 2 squares vertically and horizontally, but can capture planes up to 5 squares in every direction. Does not move upon capturing planes.
PLANE: In the place of the Cavalry Archers. Moves up to 5 squares. Captures other planes up to 5 squares but only captures Warships and ground pieces up to 2 squares, all in every direction.
WARSHIP: They haven't lost their job yet. Works like one in Medieval Battleground Chess.
LANDING: Instead of being Amphibious Archers, the landers are called Marines. The Marines moves and captures 1 square horizontally and vertically.
BUNKER: In the place of the Guards. They work the same as the Guards in Medieval Battleground Chess.
GENERAL: The same as one in Medieval Battleground Chess.
RULES:
The 50-move rule becomes the 200-move rule.
If you stalemate your opponent, you win.
If there is a threefold repetition, the player who makes the first move wins.
Each player has 5 nukes at the start of the game. The nukes can capture all pieces (including friendly pieces in a 5x5 square. You can only use them each 50 moves (except for the first move). You can't nuke the other General.
Also please don't insult this took so much effort to make
