Good game! Knowledge of rot13 did not help me. happy.png

Black will later need more firepower to Checkmate. Running the a and h pawns is part of a good plan.
rot13 ?

Thanks for the game!

I've read a Wikipedia article and followed links there before the game. One of the link gives an advice for Blacks in rot13.

I’ve seen made claim that the game has been analyzed as a win for Black. I’m not convinced. Demonstrating it becomes very challenging.
The power of tempi ! Two moves in hand is quite powerful for just the King and 4 pawns.

A new challenge perhaps by anyone?

Let's play again. I want to play Blacks again.

Nice. I came across the monster chess variant as more-or-less a joke. A friend of mine (irl) mentioned if I ever heard of "Monster Chess" - to which I had not. They then proceeded to explain the rules to me and mentioned how there were other variations like how many pawns White begins with. Even with White having all 8 pawns, I was somewhat skeptical that White had a theoretical "forced win" right from the start if they know the correct technique/ideas.

My friend and I played three games where I was Black and they were White with 8 pawns. I lost all three games, but we haven't played since. It was presented as a joke but they were upfront with me that White is supposed to win regardless of how Black plays (at least that was the claim made with White having all 8 pawns. I imagine White starting with 4 pawns might have been an attempt to level the playing field and give Black better chances at surviving).

This variant is very different. It centers about White having two moves in hand.
