PVP endgame/middle game!!!

I think it would be really awesome if there was a variant where you could start a normal game of chess against another person but the game started either in a random middle game or an endgame. Games would start as equal (~0.0) and then based on the result you could gain or lose Elo. A tie would either give both players very little elo or none at all. This would be a great way to easily practice many endgames that aren’t likely in normal play. As a software engineer myself, this doesn’t seem like a very tough variant to implement, especially when the drills category already has tons of endgame examples.
