The first place I found that had any statistics for the results of racing kings games was here:

In order to compensate for white's large advantage, the rules allow for black to tie if they can complete the race on the following turn. I noticed that if you were to add the win% for black to the draws%, both players have nearly identical win%s.
It seems very reasonable that the rules should be amended to have what are now considered draws should be counted as wins for black. It's much, much fairer.
