I get that at a high-level of play, it will safe lots of time for players in reoccuring situations.
However, at low/mid-level of play, these situations appear very rarely.
On the flip side, a great many of players are apparently completely unaware of the fact that there is another board going on and that they can win a game even if they themselves get beaten hard on their board.
Its severly frustrating and is killing my enthusiasm for this otherwise insanely awesome variant. But having lost multiple games that were won, simply because your partner resigns.....
