Shatranj engine

Hi all
I'm intersted in the ancient shatranj, and i'm using many engines like Tiyaga, Shamax and SjaakII.
Last week i found a stockfish version that can handle shatranj, but it written in C++, and I don't know how to run these type of engines.
Any help in how to use this type of engines, to be known I'm using a WINBOARD GUI to run shatranj engines, and shatranj-stockfish engine can be found in github.
Finally I could compile the source files, and created the .exe file. But I'm still facing a problwm which is: I can't run the engine in Shatranj variant of Winboard GUI. The engine only work in normal and 960 chess interfaces. Any ideas in how to solve this pronlem ? Should I do more settings to adjust the engine ?
